Restaurants
The
'1756' Restaurant
Dining
is certainly an unforgettable affair. The restaurant is perched on a cliff top
with unimpeded sea views - a heavenly setting. There is a wide choice of fine
traditional Creole and international cuisine, a treasure of fresh seafood and
local natural produce. Cerf Island is named after the French fregate
which arrived on Mahé in 1756. The
restaurant is so named to commemorate the year of discovery of Cerf Island. The cuisine blends traditional Créole
with International in a fine dining restaurant. With the breaking of the waves in the
background and a candlelit ambience, '1756' offers views over Mahé, St Anne
Island and the entrance of the Marine Park. Relax and unwind in the informal
atmosphere and enjoy the panoramic view.
