Facilities Common to all Rooms
Set
in clusters of 20 villas, with six or eight rooms per villa are 160
air-conditioned rooms (Superior and Deluxe) and 21 Junior, Senior and
oversize Ocean Suites. Their
gracious elegance reflects a traditional 'French Colonial' plantation design and
decor, with handsome dark timbers - and large French windows opening wide to a
veranda. Deluxe Rooms and all
Suites feature a four-poster bed.
Most rooms face the sea while others overlook the river. All accommodation features a spacious
private bathroom, walk-in shower, mini-bar, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making,
ceiling fan, satellite television, music channels, Internet access, a private
garden or veranda - and 24-hour private butler service. Suites also have
DVD/CD-player.

Superior
The
bedroom furniture is inspired by the French colonial period. All the rooms have dark timber floors
and painted timber wainscoting, ceilings and architraves. Floor to ceiling French windows open
wide onto the veranda. Rooms enjoy
a view of the river and the mountains beyond. The rooms are fitted with a lounge area,
a ceiling fan, individually controlled air-conditioning, electronic room safe,
TV satellite channels, multi adaptors as well as mini-bar and tea and coffee
making facilities. Each bedroom has
a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, separate toilet,
hairdryer, electric shaver plugs and spacious dressing facilities. Certain Superior Rooms have an
inter-leading facility with a Junior Suite or an Ocean Suite.

Ocean Suite
The
two Ocean Suites enjoy a stunning location, right on the beach. They are more
spacious than the Senior Suite and the bathroom features an old style free
standing bathtub. An outdoor shower is available in all Ocean Suites situated on
ground floor level. Ocean Suites
can accommodate one single extra bed and a baby cot and have an inter-leading
facility with a Superior Room.

Annabella's
Guests
and members of the kitchen brigade enjoy a uniquely convivial relationship,
built around Annabella's kitchen where guests can be intimately involved in the
preparation of the various dishes that make up their meal. Annabella's offers a daily changing
five-course choice dinner and each menu is based on the taste of Telfair with a
historical theme. Open for
breakfast and dinner, the main restaurant is designed on four levels, and
affords stunning views of the mountains and the river. The terrace is perfect for a starlit
dinner.
Gin'ja
Open
from lunch through to dinner and built on a stretch of white powdery sand, the
ambience is tranquil and relaxed.
Each day at noon, take time out to savour a variety of panoramic views
from the deep blue ocean to the calm riverbanks of the Citronniers River. In the evening, the mood becomes more
sophisticated. Fish and the
freshest seafood are served Japanese style, grilled on the spot, or cooked to
your personal taste.
Château
de Bel Ombre Restaurant
Built
in the 19th century, amidst elegant hundred years old French gardens at the edge
of the golf course and at the foot of the mountain, Le Château de Bel Ombre is
where dreams and romance reign. The
antique wood panelling and the huge surrounding veranda create an intimate
ambience to savour cocktails, tea and elegant cuisine with a 'taste of the
island'. The resort will take you
to the Château by club car and pick you up after your
meal.
