This essentially simple yet charming little Praslin hideaway retains a delightfully traditional island atmosphere. Its location is on the island's west coast beside the long beach of Grand Anse, standing among mature takamaka trees and colourful tropical vegetation, just a matter of yards from the sea. Within walking distance are little local shops and restaurants, and the airport is just 10 minutes' drive away. Indian Ocean Lodge fosters a relaxingly hospitable 'home from home' mood and takes special pride in its delicious local and international cuisine. Amenities include an open-air restaurant, bar and lounge with beach and sea views, a swimming pool, children's pool and complimentary snorkelling equipment. Complimentary daily transfers operate to Cote d'Or beach from May to October, when seaweed can affect the hotel's own beach. Bicycle and fishing (local charge) can be arranged.

This charming lodge is situated along Grand Anse, the largest strip of beach on Praslin in the Seychelles. There are 32 attractive and spacious rooms arranged in eight two-storey units. All have sea views and are spread throughout the gardens, nestled amongst casuarinas trees and colourful bougainvillea.

Standard Room

Attractive and spacious Standard Rooms, measuring 45 square metres, arranged in eight two-storey units in the gardens facing the beach. They are all air-conditioned and each has a king-size four-poster bed, ceiling fan, private bathroom with double shower, tea/coffee-making facilities and terrace or veranda with majestic Grand Anse views. Rooms can accommodate two adults - with one child (on a sofa bed) and an infant.
