The Living Room

Welcome home, sink into the roomy armchairs and sofas and relax in the shaded sanctuary of The Living Room.  Amidst the swaying of palms, the slow breeze of air from the ceiling fans and the slatted views through wooden louvres, here's the life of leisure - time for everything and nothing.  Enjoy a leisurely coffee with the morning papers.  Light lunch over a good read.  Afternoon tea with all the indulgences of cakes, sandwiches, scones, not to mention the cream and jams!  Six and drinks by the bar, a nightcap over the hushed sounds of the jungle.

The Study

No homework here, The Study offers music, books, entertainment and comfy places to keep in touch with your e-mail and friends in the outside world.

The Terrace

A sunset view over the bamboo forest, soft breezes swaying the lush green tree tops.  Enjoy cocktails on The Terrace, a tranquil space where the elements are gathered to give you a sense of calm and serenity.  An alfresco lounge steps away from The Living Room, cooled by the water walls and alive with the sounds of nature around you - an ideal place to end the day and greet the oncoming evening.

Indulge your senses and discover the art of ancient healing in the privacy of your own room.  In addition to offering highly pampering and extremely relaxing treatments, these treatments also consider your health, whether it be for preventative measures or in addressing a specific health issue.  Instead of the 'stronger is better' philosophy it follows an almost homeopathic guideline – less is more, which means that pressing the right point very gently will have a better result than heavy pressure which will simply hurt.  All suites include a dedicated spa treatment room, and the Pavilions afford the advantage of a quick conversion of the spacious bathroom into a completely private and full-service treatment room.  Your spa consultant can put together an unforgettable spa experience tailored exclusively to you.  The entire spa product line is based on natural products and wherever possible the use of local and organic products.  The locally produced carrier oils for massages are pure palm oil and coconut oil with carefully added scents.

Reaching back to its origins and location, Phuket Pavilions has created The Plantation Club.  On the site of an old rubber plantation and inspired by the old colonial houses on the trade routes, along with the history of trading in Phuket, the accents of the Chinese and Portuguese combine with the Southern Thai art of living.  The Plantation Club is the 'grand residence of old' which draws its character from a gentler way of life, recalling lazy afternoons, shaded rooms, ceiling fans, Tiffin and drinks at five.

360-Degrees – The Lookout

Follow the lush path to the top of the hill, to the god Ganesha and discover a panoramic view over the land and sea.  Survey the horizons from this dramatic location.  360-Degree alfresco wine bar dining is pure romance under the stars, with unsurpassed view of the island, the ideal sunset location to chill-out.  Enjoy the modern menu of Asian and Western tapas to main course portions.  360-Degrees – The Lookout is an enticing invitation to dine at a leisurely pace.  The signature cocktails at the bar are a must, as are late night sightings of Thai lanterns floating over the landscape.

The Verandah

Left of the stairs and off a quiet foyer is The Verandah.  Meals are served in this shaded balcony with sweeping views of the horizon.  Watch the mist lift over the landscape during the early bird's breakfast.  Lunch is served in the shade feasting on the local selection of Southern Thai platters and comfy Western standards. Dine on candlelit tables, on a palette of pastel pottery, orchids and Venetian glass.  Enjoy home-style service with plenty of local favourites from Chefs Aurelio and Chai.
