Housed in two-storey clusters of four, the Garden Pavilions, measuring 70 square metres, offer a luxurious living space and a private outdoor Thai sala nestled amidst the Resort's lush tropical gardens. Each pavilion features polished teak floors, rich Thai cotton decorations and beautiful Siamese art under a vaulted ceiling with cooling overhead fans. The Thai sala offers additional private outdoor living space with a wood floor, high ceiling with fan, northern Thai-style daybed, dining table and chairs. The bathroom overlooks a secluded garden and features a deep soaking tub, separate shower and double vanity, as well as a separate dressing area.

Named after a variety of jasmine, Ratree Bar & Lounge has a sophisticated Thai-style ambience complemented with fine wines, creative cocktails and a delicious selection of Thai and international snacks. On the upper deck of the main swimming pool, guests at Ratree can relax with a book or a game of billiards during the day, and gather in the evening to watch the sunset from the 12-metre (39-foot) carved wood infinity swing. Enjoy a variety of beverages, including the Ratree Thyme, Rice Field and Mango Sticky Rice signature cocktails. Guests of the Resort may purchase a bottle of wine or premium liquor on their first visit to the bar and store the remainder at Ratree for future visits during their stay.

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai features seven spacious treatment suites offering total privacy for individuals or couples. Each suite offers a variety of facilities, including outdoor showers, private herbal steam rooms and outdoor soaking tubs. Two of the suites have tropical rain shower massage tables. The spa also features a lanna-style beauty salon. The range of Four Seasons treatments is inspired by ancient Thai rituals using native herbs, spices and aromatic oils created through traditional rural methods and focusing on the use of organic ingredients. One of the spa specialists will help choose the most beneficial therapy for you.

Sala Mae Rim Restaurant
Savour the unique flavours of northern and vegetarian Thai specialities at Sala Mae Rim, renowned for its sumptuous Thai cuisine. A high teak wood ceiling complements Northern Thai artefacts and sweeping views of the Mae Rim Valley. In addition to a daily Continental breakfast buffet, Sala Mai Rim's menu also includes a variety of hot breakfast dishes prepared with local organic eggs and fruits and vegetables from the Resort's own organic garden and the Royal Project garden nestled in the nearby hills. To accompany breakfast is a selection of local organic honey with flavours that change according to the seasons, such as rambutan, sunflower, sesame, longan, lychee and sabsua.

Terraces
Located beside the Resort's main swimming pool, Terraces offers a stunning open-air setting with an expansive view of the surrounding rice paddies and the distant Doi Suthep mountain range. Complementing the traditional Lanna-style architecture of the Resort, Terraces features international cuisine inspired by the region's abundant natural produce and showcases dishes from Asia and beyond.

Rice Barn
A private dining venue exclusively reserved for two for the night, the Rice Barn, is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion at any time of year. Savour an exquisite five-course meal under shimmering moonlight by the Resort's rice paddies and lake. Candlelight at your artfully set table, decorated with intricate flower arrangements, and soft background music enhance the atmosphere, creating a night to remember. The dinner menu - offering a choice of Thai, Western or vegetarian dishes - is prepared for you after a consultation with the Resort's executive chef. Also available are pairings of wines from around the world, and Champagne can be added as well. Before retiring for the night, make a wish by releasing your very own Krathong, a banana leaf cup, into the Resort's pond.

Chef's Table
For a novel way to learn even more about one of the world's favourite cuisines, join the cooking school's intimate Chef's Table, offered six nights a week. One of the chefs will demonstrate and explain various preparation methods and culinary techniques as you enjoy a sumptuous meal of 15 different Thai dishes to share, family style, with up to 12 guests. The evening begins with cocktails at 7:00 pm. House wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are included, and children between 4 and 12 enjoy the Chef's Table for half price.
