The glass walled bathrooms give you sight of the harbour from your shower and allows daylight to flood through uninterrupted. With a flick of the blind you have complete privacy.

M Bar
As you enter M Bar you are enveloped in a sensuous body of textures, shapes and images set against the heights of Hong Kong's skyline. This is the setting to inject something mysterious and exciting into your evening. Slip onto charcoal velvet by a ceiling to floor sheet of glass and drink in the fabulous views from the 25th floor. Mix cocktails with the essence of the East; choose from a menu of Cantonese tapas created by Man Wah.

The Captain's Bar
A regular meeting place for the local business community; lunchtime and evening drinks as well as live music until late. This is a convivial space; in the evenings the sound of conversation and live music spill out into the lobby. Guests visit The Captain's Bar for cocktails and post-dinner digestifs.

The Clipper Lounge
A long established Hong Kong rendezvous with views over the busy lobby. Drinks and dining served all day, including the renowned high tea. Situated on the mezzanine floor encircling the lobby, guests have a busy view. Afternoon tea is something of an institution but guests can drink and dine all day with a buffet dinner served most evenings (except Sunday).

The Chinnery Bar
The Chinnery Bar offers an intimate private club atmosphere, serving fine British cuisine and one of the world's largest collections of single malt whiskies. Its famous selection of rare single malt whiskies is now over 100 in number, one of the most extensive collections in the world. For lighter refreshment The Chinnery Bar offer wine and also chilled draught beer in silver tankards. A selection of international newspapers and periodicals are available for those who prefer to sup in silence and catch up on the news. A secluded location, tucked away on the first floor, gives The Chinnery a club-like atmosphere, much favoured by its regular patrons.

The Mandarin Cake Shop has been delighting customers for over 25 years with an exquisite range of sweet and savoury treats on offer.

The Mandarin Spa
Entering the newly created Spa is to walk into the physical manifestation of luxury. Here you will find complete serenity with your personal wellbeing a sole concern. Experts have explored the world for treatments and philosophies to create a range of effective Time Rituals . And unlike other spas, The Mandarin offers a range of true healing therapies drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic philosophies. The Mandarin Spa features eight private treatment rooms including two couples suites, each with private steam shower and tub. Hong Kong's first authentic Ayurvedic Sanctuary, a Hydrotherapy Room, a Kneipp pool, Chinese Herbal Steam rooms and a Vichy Shower. For finishing touches, ladies may wish to visit the adjacent Mandarin Salon, for gentlemen a traditional Mandarin Barber.

Two lane lap pool on the top floor of The Mandarin Oriental is an elegant space for a plunge. It also includes a swimming flume jet so you can exercise against the current.

Pierre

Bold French influenced cuisine from 3-star Michelin chef, Pierre Gagnaire set against dramatic views from the 25th floor. Indeed a dining experience at Pierre is a singular pleasure. The drama begins the moment you enter Pierre to be confronted by the oversized windows framing Victoria Harbour and it never stops. Pierre Gagnaire works with courage and flashes of intuition, which produce complex dishes with seductive flavours. He was awarded his first Michelin star in 1977 and is now one of the esteemed 3-star Michelin master chefs in the world.

The Mandarin Grill
A favourite with the city's business elite, The Mandarin Grill offers superb cuisine and fine wines in elegant surroundings. The fresh refurbishment has been overseen by Sir Terence Conran who has combined contemporary designs with a traditional edge. The restaurant offers great views of Statue Square and Chater Garden and in addition it has a Crustacea Bar serving oysters and sashimi.

Man Wah
Man Wah is a deeply elegant dining room high up on the 25th floor, serving exquisite Cantonese cuisine and regional specialities. It also offers a semi-private room, Tsui Yin Ting, which is styled on an old Chinese pavilion and seats 14 comfortably at a round table. Man Wah has created a menu of traditional Cantonese cuisine and seasonal specialties. Signature dishes include Baked crab shell filled with crab meat, mushroom and onion, Stewed whole dried Yoshihama abalone, Apple wood smoked soya sauce chicken and Poached pear in tangerine tea. Dim Sum is served on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Cafe Causette
An extremely stylish space serving fresh light dining all day, patisseries from the cake shop and Asian, Mediterranean dishes from the kitchen. Walls are shot with yellow silk, banquettes wear Chanel; the service is smart. This is a chic space for drinks or dining all day. The menu range includes morning coffee and croissants, wok cuisine, Mediterranean salads and pizzas from the oven with unusual oriental hints. The kitchen is a hive of activity framed in red lacquer. The ingredients are sourced with an emphasis on healthy cuisine.

The Krug Room
Stunningly designed to re-create the intimate surroundings of a train carriage, boasting vibrant views of a fast-moving kitchen, The Krug Room will ensure that guests get to experience a sensory adventure that is by turns fascinating, mesmerising and exhilarating.
