This splendidly restored Edwardian Manor House offers guests refined comfort, congenial service and enticing cuisine in the African bush. Long Lee Manor accommodates 38 guests in elegant en-suite rooms, all with air-conditioning and heating, as well as family suites for the children.



Long Lee Manor is a reminder of an era of gracious living - positioned as the flagship of Shamwari - it overlooks the sweeping plains leading down to the Bushmans River. Ideal for families, featuring one double or twin beds, separate lounge, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, under-floor heating, satellite television, direct dial telephone; the Palm Court Suite has a patio; the Sidbury Suite includes a fold-out sofa in lounge suitable for children. The Family Suite features a sleeper couch located in the lounge.

The restored Edwardian mansion of Long Lee Manor overlooks Bushman's River Valley and its sweeping plains and captures the spirit of a bygone era. The Manor was built in 1910 and offers an unashamedly colonial safari experience with much use of wood panelling, historical photographs and paintings, and refined luxurious furnishings. Long Lee accommodates 38 guests in its elegant classically decorated bedrooms all with air-conditioning and heating, satellite television and full bathroom with bath and shower.

A further selection of rare and fine wines and imported French Champagne is also available. There is also a selection of Cuban cigars on offer from the humidor.
