The Leopard Room Bar & Lounge

The Leopard Room Bar & Lounge is the perfect place to relax with friends, family and colleagues whilst enjoying live entertainment every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening. Proven to be an extremely popular place to be for the locals as well as guests, it has a fully stocked bar featuring some 72 varieties of Martini and a selection of the latest trendy flavoured vodkas. A fine selection of cognacs and an impressive 46 ports are available, as is a wide selection of cocktails including the fashionable 'Cosmo' and Vanilla Chocatini; a martini made with Stolichnaya vanilla vodka and white crme de cacao, garnished with a chocolate flake and maraschino cherry. Professional bar tenders are on hand to take your order and will even create a cocktail using your favourite ingredients! The Leopard Room is also a great spot to enjoy 'Tea by the Sea', a delicious afternoon tea with all the trimmings including chocolate brownies, cream scones, finger sandwiches and a selection of the best teas and coffee make something of an institution with the locals.

The Sanctuary Spa

The Twelve Apostles is the luxurious get-away-from-it-all location that was recently named Leading Spa Resort in Africa. Here, you can be as active as you like - hiking through the mountain trails, working out in the fitness room, learning to dive - or finding serene peace in the Sanctuary Spa. There's not much you can't do at The Twelve Apostles to increase your fitness, raise your spirits, or soothe away your stress.

For those who like the outdoor life, there's a heated infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and a smaller secluded rock pool with mountain views. You can jog through park trails, settle into one of the many idyllic garden hammocks, swim or relax on nearby golden beaches, play golf, go fishing, or explore ancient shipwrecks.

If you prefer something a little quieter, the Sanctuary Spa is a magical (grotto) oasis of tranquillity cut into the surrounding rocks. Inside you'll find hot and cold plunge pools, Cape Town's only Rasul chamber, a sauna and a hydrotherapy bath. In the seven treatment rooms, enjoy a range of treatments including many based on the indigenous fynbos flora. Or you can opt for a secluded open-air treatment in a shady gazebo.

Azure

Savour the finest indigenous and international cuisine on offer in the extremely popular Azure Restaurant. Roberto de Carvalho, Head Chef, is on hand to create a variety of exquisite dishes including meat, seafood and vegetarian options. From the spicy entree of the Cape Malay pickled fish or the delicate fresh oysters followed by a butternut, baby marrow and morogo lasagne or the grilled kingklip served with sauted brown rice and chives with a roasted fennel sauce, your taste buds will be infused by the finest of organic ingredients. Azure is the first to introduce Fynbos cooking - utilising this natural wild vegetation from the gardens rounded off with a delightfully sweet dessert of fynbos honey bavarois or Bea's baked cheesecake taken on the stunning terrace overlooking the ocean and magnificent sunset you will truly experience the magic of Azure! The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You may also care to sample from a selection of wines through dinner to assist you in your choice with your meal. Azure is also the place to be with a dinner and a movie package where you can eat and drink well then relax in the intimate cinema.

The Cafe

This alfresco styled eaterie offers a casual and relaxed dining experience and enjoys fabulous sweeping views of the mountain range framed by the natural beauty of the indigenous flora. Its flexible menu and 24 hour access means you can enjoy a California styled menu at any hour, including a breakfast if you are still functioning in a different time zone. Enjoy anything from tasty salads and sandwiches to the most honest hamburger in Cape Town or piece of grilled fish caught fresh on the day. During summer try an extensive ice cream menu and fresh fruits and in winter an equally appealing fondue selection.
