Information for departures from the UK :

Pre-departure and post-arrival tests on return to UK are required for all international travel.

The UK Government has provided clarity on the traffic light system and entry requirements for destinations with international travel set to resume soon.

Now that we have the facts, we can provide you with latest travel information for the destinations you are planning to travel to. The rules currently in place are based on returning to England. The government has announced that the traffic light status of destinations will be reviewed regularly every 3 weeks from 17 May with the traffic light policy itself reviewed at the end of June, July and October.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are advising guests to check the latest FCDO advice for full destination information.

Getting a Covid Test

As pre-departure tests are required before leaving the UK and again on arrival back into the UK, we are recommending few companies who offer a comprehensive range of Covid testing services, either in one of their clinics or at your home.
The List recommended can be accessed here GOV List Recommendations

The tests are PHE approved, MHRA authorised and CE marked for quality and safety assurances. The tests are administered and couriered to the Laboratory, once results are processed, an automatic message is received and Certified results are emailed in a printable PDF format. Passengers can receive RT-PCR test results within 24-72 hours of providing swab sample, or within just 2-4 hours when using our ‘Super Express Test’ option at some of these clinics.

All new bookings departing up to and including 18 April 2022 now benefit from our newly revised book with confidence policy, which gives you greater flexibility by allowing you to cancel closer to your departure date should there be any changes to travel advice relating to Covid-19. This means you can book your trip with total peace of mind, safe in the knowledge you can flex your plans should you need.

Our team will explain the options available to you and talk you through the specific terms and conditions relating to each aspect of your trip, giving you full transparency enabling you to make informed decisions, if your holiday is unable to proceed as a result of Covid-19.
If you choose to cancel due to Covid-19 travel advice restrictions*, we will offer you a full refund, including your deposit, between 1 and 30 days prior to departure, dependent on the nature of your trip** and as long as the balance has been paid in full.

* Travel Restrictions defined as:

  • Where travel to the destination would contravene the travel advice issued by the UK Government and FCDO.
  • There are entry restrictions imposed by a country to UK residents where there is a legal obligation to quarantine for more than 3 days on arrival.
  • Where there are visa suspensions meaning guests are denied entry to the destination.
  • If there is a UK government and FCDO requirement to quarantine in a hotel, or self-isolate at home on return to the UK for more than 3 days.
