OVERVIEW
Day 1: Manila – Arrival
Arrive in Manila and transfer to your historic hotel located along Manila Bay.
Day 2: Manila – Sightseeing
Drive through the Cultural Centre of the Philippines grounds by Manila Bay with a stop at Rizal Park where the Philippines’ national hero was executed, and then proceed to Fort Santiago, Manila century house, San Agustin Church and its museum. [B/L]
Day 3: Manila – Cebu
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cebu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in one of the country’s most prestigious tourist destinations. [B]
Day 4: Cebu - Sightseeing
Discover Cebu and its many historical landmarks: Lapu Monument, Magellan’s Cross and Santo Nino Church. Drive through scenic Beverly Hills and visit the Chinese Taoist Temple and Fort San Pedro to indulge in the shopping bargains of handicrafts at the local souvenir shops, and Carbon market where native produce are sold before sampling the famous Cebu lechon (roasted pig). Day 5: Cebu – Tagbilaran
Transfer to the seaport for a ferry ride to Tagbilaran. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, just a few steps from the beach. [B]
Day 6: Tagbilaran – Pamilacan Dolphin and Whale Watching Tour
Take a trip to Pamilacan to watch whales and dolphins in the Bohol Sea with the locals whose familiarity with the area also makes them excellent guides. The best season is from March to June but resident dolphins and small whales can be seen all year round. Tours are dependent on weather and sea conditions. [B, L]
Day 7: Tagbilaran - Dumaguete
Transfer to the seaport for a ferry ride to Dumaguete. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel situated within an old seven acre coconut plantation enjoying a spectacular beach front location. [B]
Day 8: Dumaguete
Take a boat to Apo Island for a walk through the island’s quaint village on your way to the marine sanctuary, where the snorkelling experience is at its best. [B/L]
Day 9: Dumaguete - Manila
Free until transfer to the airport. [B]
