Day 01: Arrival Kuala Lumpur
On arrival at Kuala Lumpur Airport, you will be met and transferred to your city hotel for two nights.
Day 02: Kuala Lumpur City
Take a city tour to include the King’s Palace, National Mosque & Railway Station, Selangor Club and the Petronas Twin Towers. [B]
Day 03: Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Tembeling – Taman Negara
Leaving KL, you are driven to Kuala Tembeling jetty to travel by motor longboat to Kuala Tahan, HQ of Taman Negara. Pass through lush rainforest, observing local villages and maybe local wildlife by the river. Check-in and relax until an evening briefing by your jungle guide and a night walk in the 130 million years old tropical rainforest. [B, D]
DAY 04: Taman Negara
After breakfast you take a guided jungle walk up Teresik Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the rainforest and, on a clear day, Mount Tahan, Peninsular Malaysia’s highest mountain. Continue with a canopy walkway, 40 m above ground to experience the rainforest from a treetop perspective! This afternoon, take a boat to the waterfalls of Lata Berkoh and maybe enjoy a swim. Day 05: Taman Negara – Kuala Tembeling – Cameron Highlands
Leave by boat for Kuala Tembeling jetty and drive to Cameron Highlands, stopping at the Lata Iskandar Waterfalls. On arrival, check-in and have the rest of the day at leisure. [B]
Day 06: Cameron Highlands
Today you explore Cameron Highlands, visiting the Sungai Palas Tea Plantation for a guided factory tour and a cup of tea with panoramic views. Continue with visits to the Rose Garden, Strawberry Farm and Buddhist Temple, with a final stop at the Butterfly Farm. Return to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure. [B]
Day 07: Cameron Highlands – Penang
Morning departure to Penang, visiting Sam Poh Tong cave temple and the Royal town of Kuala Kangsar before crossing via one of the world’s longest bridges over to Penang for six nights. [B]
Day 08: Penang - Georgetown
This morning enjoy a city, culture and heritage tour of Georgetown, a UNESCO Heritage Site. Visit the reclining Buddha, Fort Cornwallis, site of the first British colony in Penang in 1786 and drive through ‘Street of Harmony’, where Anglican, Chinese, Indian and Muslim places of worship have existed harmoniously together for centuries. Finally, visit the State Museum before returning to the hotel to relax and perhaps explore the nightlife along Batu Ferringhi. [B]
Day 09: Penang

Day 10: Penang – Pangkor Laut
Depart Penang and head southwards towards Lumut town’s jetty to transfer by boat to the exclusive island Pangkor Laut Resort for three nights’ stay. [B]
Day 11 – 12: Pangkor Laut
At leisure. [B]
Day 13: Pangkor Departure
After breakfast, board the ferry to Lumut jetty and transfer by road to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your evening onward/homebound flight. [B]
This Kuala Lumpur originating tour is based on Pick up/drop off service from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, shared twin room accommodation as below, transport by private car/minivan, and shared boat (Taman Negara), meals (B- Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner) and sightseeing/activities with an English speaking guide included as specified.

• The rainy season along the East Coast is from middle November to middle/end January. Unexpected flash floods, although rarely, may occur. In such circumstances, the Company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary.
• During the Muslim festival of Hari Raya Aidul Fitri & Hari Raya Aidul Adha together with the Chinese New Year, some places of interest are closed for a period of 2 days each in a year (Festive dates are subject to changes).
• Taman Negara: It is not advisable to bring your suitcase for the boat ride. If you are not returning to Kuala Lumpur, please approach the Taman Negara Resort office at Kuala Tembeling to place your suitcase with them. The boat ride to and from Kuala Tembeling/Kuala Tahan is on joint basis. Camera and fishing license is payable at Kuala Tembeling. The rainy season, some of the activities may be cancelled should there be a high element of safety at risk.
