a luxurious private house, beautiful Coral Reef Club has been in the loving care
of the O'Hare family for two generations.
Today, under their impeccable stewardship, it preserves a distinctive
charm and sense of genuine hospitality that hark back to the very best
traditions of Barbados luxury
hotel-keeping. Lying amid 12 acres
of manicured tropical gardens, beside a white-sand St James coast beach, its
mellow colonial-style coral-stone cottages and buildings are delightfully
enhanced by shuttered windows and wooden balustrade. Reflecting the gentle mood of an elegant
and sophisticated retreat, Coral Reef will appeal particularly to those guests
who appreciate a quieter and slightly understated setting - designed above all

Luxury Plantation Suite
The
five Plantation Suites are very luxuriously appointed. They consist of a bedroom with a
four-poster or canopied bed, very spacious living room, a dressing area and a
large bathroom with a big walk-in shower and separate tub - all
air-conditioned. There is a large
covered terrace and open sundeck area with a pool which is 12 feet long and 9
feet wide. Featured in the living
room is a television, DVD-player, CD-player and a selection of CDs and
DVDs. There is also a complimentary
starter bar. These suites all have
views of the sea and accommodate two adults. Three of these suites have king-size
beds and two can convert from king to twin beds, if required.

The
Coral Reef Club hosts live entertainment every evening during the winter and 4
evenings per week during the summer.
This ranges from calypso, steel band, jazz, piano to dance from the
popular melodies, past and present.

Weekly
cocktail party hosted at the O'Hara family home every Monday night, followed by
a sumptuous West Indian/international buffet.
Barbecue
Evening
Thursday
night - full choice barbecue serving fillet and sirloin steaks, marinated breast
of chicken, veal and pork ribs, lamb chops, pork sausages, jumbo prawns, fresh
catch of the day, fish kebabs and fresh salmon burgers. This is followed by a floor show
featuring limbo dancing, folk dancing and fire eating.

The
tastefully designed bar and lounge is just one of the many places for you to
relax and enjoy cool tropical drinks.
Coral Reef Club is infamous for its Rum Punch/Planter's Punch as being
the best on the island along with its blended fruit cocktails such as the Banana
Punch or the popular Fruit Punch.
