100 beautiful Beach and Water Villas, 5 Beach Duplex Villas, 2 Grand Beach
Villas and 2 Grand Water Villas - all offering very spacious accommodation with
24-hour Villa Host. They use
natural materials throughout, are appointed with quality timber furniture, and
feature air-conditioning, king size four-poster bed, private veranda, natural

Villas consist of two villas joined together and with a private garden - ideal

Beach Villa
The
68 Beach Villas are dotted on the island's coral sand fringe. Each with a bedroom area and windows
looking out to sea, a large open-air bathroom with a stone bath and outdoor
shower, dressing room area and a decked terrace leading to a private stretch of
beach, thatched umbrella and long wooden sun lounges. Lush foliage between the villas provides
privacy.

Water Villa
Alluringly
romantic and tremendously private, the Water Villas, measuring 125 sq m., are
perched above the ocean on sturdy wooden stilts with steps leading into the
sea. Large outdoor decks invite
relaxed sunbathing and al fresco dining, while a king-size bed and sensuous
over-water bathroom semi-open to the sky envelop guests in natural
comfort.

Grand Water Villa
Spectacular
in design and sumptuous in style, the two Grand Water Villas, measuring 135 sq
m., are set on sun-drenched stilts over the lagoon. Individually designed and furnished,
these villas feature a spacious bedroom, separate living room and large sun
deck. The crystal waters of the
lagoon shimmering below are easily accessed by a private
staircase.

Duplex Villa
The
five duplexes comprise two Beach Villas joined together and are perfect for
families or friends travelling together.
Each bedroom has its own outdoor area, en suite bathroom and connecting
doors between the bedrooms, allowing for privacy. Additionally, they offer a large beach
front and separate decked verandas.

Grand Beach Villa
The
two Grand Beach Villas, measuring 188 sq m., are the largest of all the resort's
accommodation, and were recently fully refurbished with teak wood floors and
deck throughout, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and new furniture, fabrics and
dressings designed with traditional materials which retain the authentic,
natural Maldivian charm of the resort.
Each features two bedrooms, one with king-size bed and the other with two
single beds; two spacious bathrooms
with free-shaped whirlpool bath and outdoor shower; living room/dining table; kitchenette; veranda and a wide beach front. Grand Beach Villas offer a home-away-from-home
atmosphere especially ideal for long-staying guests, families and those seeking

has opened a new restaurant, ‘Kandu’, on its own private Robinson Crusoe
like-island. Kandu means ‘blue sea’
in Divehi. This exciting new
outlet, the first resident restaurant set on a private islet in the Maldives, will enable guests to
discover a totally new concept of Grill Restaurant on a tiny getaway island a
few minutes away by boat transfer from Kanuhura. Take a seat at Kandu and watch the
