The historic Rendezvous Court served as the original lobby of the Biltmore when it opened 1923. Adorned with Moorish carved wood ceilings, gold-leaf accents, Italian travertine stone walls and a rose marble fountain, it is most noted for its enormous carved bronze Baroque stairwell that overlooks the elegant 2-storey lounge, now used for dining, relaxing, afternoon tea and meeting with friends.
