About the The Majestic Malacca
This 1920’s former aristocratic home turned hotel perfectly reflects the colourful colonial history of Malacca. Located on the banks of the river which used to teem with Chinese junks and spice-laden vessels from China heading to Holland, the classical interior maintains elements of local influence as well as the rich history of the Chinese in the area.

Deluxe Room
- These 35sqm rooms are open plan with the bathroom behind traditional, sliding wooden panes which match the rest of the furniture. They have been designed with the discerning traveller in mind, so you really feel as though in you’re in a truly unique location.
Majestic Suite
- Located on the top floor, the bedroom of the same size is paired with a separate living area which ideally fits two children. The view takes in the Malacca River and quaint village of Kampung Morten.
Tranquerah Suite
- The second suite is the exact same style and layout, also on the top floor. The living area also comes with sofa, television and features which match the bedroom. The suites are a total of 70sqm.

- The Lounge at The Mansion
A casual lunch to afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the relaxing lounge, reception area. Local, colourful snacks and located in glass jars to be enjoyed by guests throughout their stay.
- The Bar at The Mansion
A refreshing drink such as gin & tonic can be enjoyed at this traditionally-designed European saloon-styled bar, at the front of The Mansion. An extensive range of cocktails and soft drinks are available.
- Gin O'Clock at the Majestic Malacca
On Fridays and Saturdays between 5pm and 8pm, try your hand at mixing your own gin-based cocktail. An interactive gin-cart is located next to the bar, along with a selection of recipes which can be taken home.

Casual dining is experience breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Mansion. Featuring its original Straits Settlement windows which overlook Malacca and Kampung Morten, there are also two private room options. Dishes served here include traditional Malaccan cuisine known as Kristang as well as western options.
Wellness

Inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, and the only spa based on Peranakan healing philosophy, the therapies on offer are moulded to the individual's energy. The treatments aim to capture what is removed from day-to-day life using traditional and signature experiences.
