Dedicated to treating both body and spirit, the Seven Colours Spa, the concept of Veranda Resorts, is an oasis of tranquillity, authentic and refined. This unique spa village of cabins in ochre tints, draped with gossamer veils balancing delicately on the refreshing breezes the African inspired decor surrounded by plants, water features and cascades and exuberant blooms of island flowers. The Seven Colours Spa with a floor area of 3,000 sq m. has 20 treatment rooms, 7 massage rooms of which 3 are double, and 2 massage kiosks on the beach, effusion showers, steam baths, a huge sauna with a cold water pool, a pool with eddying currents, divans in kiosks especially provided for relaxation, and one consulting room where tailor-made treatment programmes can be discussed.

Attached to the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, the magnificent 18 hole The Heritage Golf Club course which covers 100 hectares is the masterpiece of architect Peter Matkovitch, of Peter Matkovich and Hayes the world renowned South African architectural practice. Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course (Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories.

With its ethnic decor inspired by its name borrowed from that of an African musical instrument, the main restaurant, le Balafon, is without doubt the place to meet for breakfast. In the evening it is the setting for a delicious culinary voyage through varied cuisine themes.

Framed by the turquoise blue water of the lagoon and the swimming pool, Infinity Blue is the place to enjoy deliciously flavoured and colourful culinary delights, completely relaxed, with your toes in the sand.

For a gastronomic meal, or just to stop and take tea, the Chateau de Bel Ombre is in an enchanting setting, punctuated by spectacular trees, and overlooking a captivatingly beautiful French style garden stretching out towards the horizon, and at the end of it the Bel Ombre Golf Course. Dating from the 19th century, this vast colonial mansion has been restored to its former glory. It exudes an old world charm, with antique furniture, panelling, high ceilings, majestic stairs and wooden floors, and is an ideal setting for a romantic dinner in a fairyland of magic lights, or just for dreaming about times gone by.
