Welcome to the Bush Lodge - a proud member of the Heritage Collection on Amakhala Game Reserve. Situated in the malaria free Greater Addo and Frontier Country area in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, 45 minutes’ drive east from Port Elizabeth, this breath-taking reserve offers sightings of the Big Five and numerous other species.
Bush Lodge is set in the bush overlooking a watering hole with luxury tented and thatched suites each with a secluded private viewing deck, plunge pool, air-conditioning, alfresco double showers and fireplace. The main lodge offers luxurious dining, comfortable lounge areas and an expansive viewing deck with an outdoor fireplace. The guest reception is at Reed Valley Inn where guests are welcomed by the friendly staff. From there, guests are transported in an open Land Rover to the Bush Lodge. Riveting once-in-a-lifetime game viewing experiences, including sunset river cruises make for an exceptional safari experience.
