About the Hog Hollow Country Lodge
Situated 12 miles east of Plettenberg Bay on a private nature reserve, this delightful hideaway boasts superb views over indigenous forest and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The Main House forms a communal dining area surrounded by a long blue swimming pool that visually flows into the valley below and a boma where nightly fires are lit. Other attractions include a forest sauna, privately sited forest shower with incredible views over the valley, local walks, horse-riding, golf, whale and dolphin watching nearby.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
Villa
- The Villa at Hog Hollow is about 400 metres from the main lodge and still on our private nature reserve. It’s a three bedroomed double storey house with extraordinary views over the valley and Tsitsikamma Mountains. The house opens up on the infinity pool and wooden decks giving it an airy and light feel. The lounge (45m2) is spacious and sunny: comfortable leather furniture, drinks cabinet, music system, DSTV and DVD player, fireplace and wooden deck area with magnificent views over the valley, forest and mountains.

Entertainment
-  The BarKick off your shoes, grab an icy drink from the bar and relax. There are three lounge areas to escape to with a book, a pair of binoculars, or just your thoughts. The Pool Lounge leads out onto cool blue waters where you may find others lazing about on comfortable recliners. The Reading Room offers a quiet haven and a leafy vista of the indigenous forest valley and Tsitsikamma Mountains. If you're a bird lover, head straight for the Ficus Lounge where an ancient fruit-laden tree is a favourite with Plett's prolific bird community. 
Wellness
-  The choice is yours: laze around the pool on balmy sunny days, relax in the sauna, have a massage on the treatment deck (or in your suite). 
Restaurants
-  The RestaurantHog Hollow is well known for its delectable food. On crisp clear days farmhouse breakfasts are served on the wooden deck overlooking the forest or near the huge fireplace when it's cooler. In the evenings, guests enjoy scrumptious dinners around the communal table in the candle-lit atmosphere of the main house. Meals are prepared using only the freshest of local produce. The set menu includes a selection of main course of which fish, prawn and crayfish are daily features. Guests with specific dietary requirements are catered for individually. Children are catered for with special meal times and menus.
