Overview

Six Senses Con Dao is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The villas sheltered by darkly green forested mountains, sit along a mile of golden sand, looking out at the blue sea and curve of the bay. The whole area has been protected as a nature and marine reserve for decades.
Located off the south-east coast of mainland Vietnam, the largest island in the Con Dao archipelago - Con Son, hosts unique Six Senses Con Dao. It can be reached by commercial aircraft or chartered private plane, within 45 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City that is around 230 Kilometres or 145 miles away.
This boutique resort sets the benchmark for excellence in Vietnam. The contemporary architecture design blends in with the beautiful natural surroundings and follows Six Senses total commitment to the environment with natural, reclaimed and sustainable materials.

The Market Area
The market area offers a small village complete with a main street and square, resembling a typical village found in the Vietnamese country side. The traditional houses compromise of the Six Senses Gallery, an activity centre-LIFE, a meeting room and a library. Terraces between the library and main bar allow guests to enjoy the beach views whilst experiencing the unique food and drinks on offer. Movies at the Market are screened here too.

By the Beach
The main restaurant, By the Beach is perched on top of the sand dunes between the sea and the river and offers beautiful views of the water and surrounding bay. The restaurant serves Asian Fusion with a hint of colonial French and Western dishes-all simply cooked and presented, using the finest of fresh ingredients.There is locally caught seafood, fruit, vegetables and herbs bursting with flavour on offer. You can expect traditional Vietnamese recipes with Chef Richard Lee personal twist. Dinner, overlooking the moonlit sea, offers daily specials of delicately flavoured, beautifully cooked dishes.

Vietnamese by the Market
In the heart of Six Senses Con Dao is its Vietnamese kitchen, known as Vietnamese by the Market. Ms Len and her team cook authentic delicacies: noodles, rice, soups, rolls and wraps over charcoal flamed woks or in wood-fired ovens. It is the place not only to try The best 'street' food ever tasted but to learn the skills in the daily cooking classes.

In the main guest area of Six Senses Con Dao, that recreates a fishing village and local market, there is a deli - Delicious, offering the best snacks and light lunches: cold meats and cheeses, pickles and chutneys, fabulous breads and salads, a bakery with the best of the worlds patisserie. Gusts are welcome to eat in or take away from breakfast to tea time.
