- These spacious 90-95 m² suites each feature a private pool and garden or mountain views. Equipped with a Nespresso® machine (coffee capsules not included), each suite provides a blend of comfort and luxury, inspired by themes of love in Mauritius and can accommodate up to 2 persons + 2 children* (less than 13 years) or 3 persons. This room type comes into 4 categories:
1. La Dame Créole Suite: Named after Emmeline Carcenac, the muse of Baudelaire’s poem “À une Dame Créole”, this suite celebrates Creole elegance and history, offering a refined ambiance inspired by 19th-century Mauritius.
2. Paul et Virginie Suite: This suite draws inspiration from Bernardin de Saint-Pierre’s romantic tale, celebrating natural beauty and moral virtue. The decor reflects the innocence and piety of the characters, with a tropical twist.
3. Kithnou Suite: Inspired by the tragic love story of Kithnou and an owner of the sugar industry, this suite blends Indian and Mauritian cultural elements, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere.
4. Reshma Suite: Reflecting a timeless love story from India, this suite features intricate artworks and sculptures, emphasizing themes of patience, respect, and enduring love, making it a truly unique and heartfelt retreat.
Kaz Standard Room
- These double rooms, each spanning 50 m², are conveniently located near the restaurant and main building. Featuring a terrace and open shower, they offer privacy and overlook an 8-meter swimming pool. Each room is designed with unique themes reflecting the rich cultural influences of Mauritius and can accommodate up to 2 persons. This room type comes into 3 categories:
1. Lakaz Feraye, meaning iron in Creole has an oriental influence with forged iron furniture crafted by a local artisan
2. Lakaz Dibois, meaning wood in Creole features an Indian-inspired decor with artworks by Mauritian artists and carved furniture from India. The bathroom features a frangipani tree, symbolizing divinity and femininity.
3. Lakaz Bambou, meaning Bamboo is Asian influenced with bamboo planted in the bathroom, symbolizing friendship, youth, robustness, and flexibility according to Feng Shui principles.
Kaz Superior Room
- Each of the 80 m² suites offers a spacious retreat with a separate bedroom and living room, terrace, and open-air shower and bathtub. Situated in the garden with views of the surrounding mountains, these suites overlook a 16-meter swimming pool and a thatched kiosk with game tables. Each suite features a Nespresso® machine (coffee capsules not included) and can accommodate up to 2 persons + 2 children* (less than 13 years) or 3 persons. This room type comes into 4 categories:
1. Suite Namasté, which reflects a warm welcome and decorated with paintings of women in saris by Mauritian artist Kalindi Jundoosing, it features a frangipani tree in the bathroom symbolizing divinity and femininity.
2. Suite Tropikal, which is dedicated to tropical life and showcases artwork of Lakaz's plantations, celebrating the lush tropical surroundings and vibrant island life.
3. Suite Zen is infused with Asian influence and includes natural stones, bamboo elements symbolizing friendship, youth, and resilience, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere.
4. Suite Afrika features furniture made from the ‘Tekoma’ tree, crafted from wood collected after a cyclone. The African influence is evident, honouring the cultural heritage present in Mauritian Sega music.

2. Sea View Suite Rempart: Inspired by the volcanic Rempart Mountain with its 827-meter summit, this suite showcases local craftsmanship, with wood and forged-iron decor by Alexandrine and Denis, celebrating the island’s geological beauty.
3. Sea View Suite Trois Mamelles: This suite takes its name from the Trois Mamelles Mountain, known for its three distinct peaks. The adventurous spirit of the mountain is captured through local artistic touches, offering breathtaking views.
