About the Ocean Creek
Nestled in the sunny Northwest coast of Mauritius where long hours of sunshine awaitthe travellers, “Ocean’s Creek” is a cosy 4-star hotel named after the lower reaches of the Tombeau river meeting the Indian Ocean. The hotel enjoys easy access to the sandy beaches with open views of iridescent sunsets over the teal blue bay. On either side, the richness of the surrounding Nature is augmented by the variety of landscapes from the sandy beaches and shore front of the famous Balaclava Bay to Tombeau’s creek, or the surrounding forest down to the never-far away slopes of Pieter Both Mountains, too.
River Boat Trip
Ocean’s Creek has recently launched a river ride along the tranquil water of the Tombeau River, which takes its source on the slopes of Pieter Both Mountain, the second higher mountain in Mauritius and named after Pieter Both, the first Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies. The notable feature of this mountain is the gigantic rock formation at the very top of it, which resembles a human head.
The boat ride is offered daily is complimentary to all the hotel’s guest to enjoy during their stay. The boat may also be privatised for a couple, family or a group of friends either to simply enjoy the river ride or for Breakfast, Lunch or dinner.
Shuttle Service to Trou aux Biches Public Beach
As of January 2024, Ocean’s Creek Beach Hotel, located in Balaclava, will be introducing a shuttle service to take our esteemed guests to Trou aux Biches public beach, which is considered among the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, and which is a mere 20 mins driving distance from the hotel. This service which will run twice weekly, will leave the guest at the beach in the morning and bring them back to the hotel in the afternoon. It is worth noting that the service will be complimentary.

- Designed by families for families, the Family room features a cosy indoor space for parents with a separate bedroom for the kids. - The best of a family holiday is what we planned to provide with this brilliant solution that offers both privacy while asleep in the two separate bedding areas and a shared space for some family time.

- The Suite is the most spacious of the rooms, offering smart indoor space where you can comfortably relax with a movie with your beloved one.
