The Elephant Camp
- Situated right on the border of the rainforest of Khao Sok National Park, our luxury tailor-made tents and set in the largest protected area of rainforest in Southern Thailand. Each tent features comfortable solid beds, fan, tea and coffee making facilities and a luxurious bathroom with Western style toilet, hairdryer and hot and cold shower. The furniture is handmade by our very own skilled craftsmen using natural materials and provides all the comfort you would normally find in a hotel room.
The tents have ample space, are well protected against mosquitoes and other possible intruders, offer plenty of lighting and are the perfect place to reflect on the day’s observations and activities.
The Rainforest Camp
- Rainforest Camp is situated in the center of Cheow Larn Lake in Khao Sok National Park. 20 Luxury Safari Tents with en-suite bathrooms provide an intimate base to explore Southern Thailand's tropical rainforest. Powered by both wind and solar energy and using responsible waste management, Rainforest Camp is designed to be at one with nature. This is unique and responsible way to experience the true beauty of Southern Thailand's endangered Rainforest habitat, home to wild Elephants, Hornbills, rare Asian Oxen (gaurs), various monkey species, a myriad of reptiles, amphibians and floral species.
Relax in front of your tent, take a swim in the emerald waters of Cheow Larn Lake, kayak through its khlongs and channels in search of monkeys and birds and trek through the rainforest before watching the sun set over the jungle. As part of our evening program, we introduce the secrets of the traditional Thai kitchen at our cooking demonstration. One of our guides explains the preparation of one famous Thai dish to the guests every evening, while one of our experienced chefs follows the instructions simultaneously.
To be able to enjoy at least a bit of our Thai dishes at home as well, we have prepared the recipes of the most favourite dishes of our guests, so that they can cooked each time when feeling like having an amazing Thai culinary delight.

Elephant Hills offers a wide variety of fine Thai dishes at our buffet lunches and dinners. Breakfast is rather western, with a choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, freshly baked bread, cheese, sausages, baked beans and eggs prepared to your liking at our popular omelette station.
